There are tens of thousands of car dealerships in this country. And every day, the dealerships that are not able to keep up with the competition are forced to close their doors, and new ones run by brilliant entrepreneurs are taking their place. In such a competitive marketplace, dealership owners need to pull out all the stops to stay in business. Brown Daub Kia recognized this, and they decided to promote their business by calling The Sign Center for custom promotional vehicle graphics for Easton PA.

Posted by Gary Baron on Tue, Dec 10, 2013 @ 10:15 AM
Customizing Your Message
Taylor Rental offers a wide range of rental services, a hallmark of their company identity since 1969 when they first opened. Clients can take care of all their rental needs from party supplies to power tools to medical equipment. This wide range of services attracts a wide range of clients.
Taylor Rental's vehicle wraps, therefore, must showcase the range of services they provide as well. The wraps for the party division of their company features a party tent, with a view of tables, chairs and lighting you need to accompany a party tent rental.
The individualized wrap highlights the party services of the larger company while still promoting the company as a whole.
Mobile Marketing
Vehicle graphics, like the graphics Taylor Rental has chosen for their fleet, spread your company's marketing message much further than traditional marketing message and to a broader audience that might not otherwise have known about the services Taylor Rental offers.
For example, as the company's party division van drops off or picks up equipment from an event, guests at the event will see the graphics, know the company offers party rental services, and also get the important information they need to contact the company themselves.
Taylor Rental vehicle wraps include:
- The company name;
- A phone number;
- A website to contact the company;
- And a short list of the services the company offers in addition to party equipment rentals.
Essentially, the fleet comprise a moving billboard attracting new customers or old customers unfamiliar with other services Taylor Rental might provide.
Think Outside the Sign
At The Sign Center, we encourage our clients, like our partners at Taylor Rentals, to think about signage in more creative ways. Vehicle wraps and graphics are one way to think differently about how to incorporate signage into your marketing business model.
Awnings, banners, wall graphics, and pop up stands and displays also take your brand message beyond simple directional signs or signs to announce your location. Signage becomes a part of your overall marketing message when it's incorporated into every aspect of your business, particularly those aspects that have a physical presence, like your company fleet.
Join with our new partner Taylor Rental and see what vehicle graphics and wraps can do for your company.

The Chatham Club chooses The Sign Center for their new entrance sign
Posted by Gary Baron on Mon, Oct 14, 2013 @ 05:50 PM
The Chatham Club has turned to the Sign Center to create the new entrance signage for this well-established squash club and fitness center. The monument sign the club chose makes it easy for guests, members and new visitors to quickly find and locate the club, while also standing up to the weather so it will look good for the long run.
Squash Enthusiasts Build a Home
In 1976, a group of squash fans from New Jersey broke ground on a new clubhouse, creating a space for people to come and play squash, learn about the game and enjoy the community of fellow squash players. The initial facility included six courts, locker rooms, a sauna and a baby-sitting service so parents could enjoy their favorite game.
As the years went own, the Chatham Club has grown and expanded along with its members, adding gym equipment, a spinning room, a Pilates facility and more to meet the needs of the community. Through the years, the Chatham Club has remained committed to providing service to the community both through their mission as a sports club and through contributions to local service organizations.
Entrances with Presence
The new monument sign the Chatham Club chose for their entrance signage establishes a strong presence for the Chatham Club both for returning members and new visitors alike.
Monument signs have a heft and permanence to them making them ideal for entrances to office parks, shopping centers and places like the Chatham Club that sit off of the main road. These signs are large without becoming overly obtrusive or obnoxious.
They also project a certain dignity through their style and simplicity. Locations like the Chatham Club do not need a sign with blinking lights or bright colors. They need a sign to match their history, mission and long-standing connection to the community. Monument signs meet this goal.
Endurance: Signs and Organizations
Another reason monument signs make a great choice for institutions like the Chatham Club is because the signs are crated to hold up against time and the elements, just like the Chatham Club brand.
After more than 35 years of service to the community, the Chatham Club has established its brand within the community. It needs a sign that can continue to serve the club through the years. Monument signs are built with weather resistant materials and come with a five year guarantee against the weather, which can erode materials, paint and reduce the overall quality of a sign.
Let your entrance signage speak volumes about your organization by choosing a monument sign. The Chatham Club's new entrance sign will continue to serve the club and community for years to come.

Hall's Garden Center of Berkeley Heights chooses The Sign Center for their new vehicle graphics
Posted by Gary Baron on Tue, Jul 2, 2013 @ 02:16 PM
A Strong Brand Message
Hall's Garden Center has a simple logo with clean graphics and the outline of a gingko biloba leaf. The beautiful, simple graphic has a presence on their website, mobile site and printed materials. Now the message extends to the delivery and service vehicles the garden center uses as well.
Each step a business takes to make a brand message consistent throughout the customer experience strengthens the brand. For example, a customer who visits Hall's website first can easily recognize the garden center when visiting for the first time because the graphics look exactly the same. Customers know they have come to the right place.
Enhancing Community Presence
Hall's Garden Center offers many services that take their vehicles into the community. This includes their florist department, delivery, design and build services, and "helping hand" service to assist customers building and assembling their purchases.
When the garden center's vehicles go out into the community to provide these services, their vehicle graphics enhance their presence and show the garden center as an active part of a neighborhood. Potential customers will see Hall's as a service that exists beyond just a nursery or shopping destination.
Marketing Made Easy
Businesses are always on the lookout for new marketing opportunities. Vehicle graphics provide a quick, easy and simply way to extend a marketing campaign.
The vehicle wrap we completed for Hall's Garden Center includes the basic information any potential customer would need to know about a business:
- The name and logo;
- A phone number for the business;
- The business address;
- And website addresses for both the garden center and the florist service.
Potential customers who see the vehicles learn everything they need to know about the garden center and can immediately take action to interact with the business either by calling the center or using their mobile device to visit the website.
The benefit of this sort of marketing is that it fits under the inbound marketing umbrella. It doesn't bug potential customers with unsolicited messages. Vehicles simply go about their business attracting attention from customers looking for a garden service.
Hall's Garden Center has built up their brand, developed a community presence and enhanced their marketing campaign through a partnership with The Sign Center. How can we help you achieve your business goals?

Dominican Nuns of Summit NJ choose The Sign Center for their carved sign
Posted by Gary Baron on Mon, Jul 1, 2013 @ 02:25 PM
The Sign Center is excited to announce our latest sign partnership with the Dominican Nuns of Summit, N.J. This monastery chose a carved and painted sign for their main entrance to reflect the history, solemnity and purpose of the monastery.
Carved signs make the perfect signage choice for religious and cultural institutions because they reflect an institution's historical significance, match the purpose of the organization, and help an organization stand out from other signs.
Historical Significance
The Dominican Nuns of Summit, N.J. first opened their order in 1919. The monastery belongs to the American Perpetual Rosary, which was first established in 1891. Their roots go back to Calais, France in 1880, where a community of cloistered nuns dedicated themselves to the Perpetual Rosary. Looking back even further, the Dominican order of nuns was established by St. Dominic de Guzman in France in 1216.
An institution with such a long and venerated history needs a sign that reflects this history. Neon, plastic, metal and other materials do not carry the same elegance and sense of history that carved and painted signs do. A carved sign feels weighty and looks like it can stand the same test of time the institution has so far.
In fact, new technologies for carved signs mean these signs do last longer than other signs or older carved signs made of wood. Today's carved signs are made of a high-density foam that stands up to weather better than wood but still looks as elegant and refined as wood.
Matching the Mission
The Dominican Nuns of Summit, N.J. and their Monastery of Our Lady of the Rosary offer a different experience for visitors than other visitor attractions. It offers a place for religious reflection, to learn about religious life, or engage in service with the nuns.
The carved and painted sign reflects the solemn nature of the monastery while also welcoming visitors to the monastery. A different material wouldn't as closely mirror the cultural experience visitors would expect of a monastery.
Call Attention to Yourself
Another benefit of carved and painted signs is how they help an organization stand out from other signs and organizations in the area. A carved sign doesn't work for every business and choosing one says something about your business.
For the Dominican Nuns, the carved sign they chose helps them stand out from commercial businesses, government offices or traditional tourist attractions. At the same time, the sign still beckons visitors because it stands out from other signs in the area.
If you have looked for a way to help your organization stand out from the crowd in a way that honors your tradition and history, consider a carved and painted sign, just as the Dominican Nuns of Summit, N.J. did.
