How does the vehicle wrap process workVehicle wraps are the hottest products in the signage industry these days. Just about every business that has vehicles on the road during the day has vinyl graphics or wraps. But, how are vehicle wraps designed and installed? And, are they right for your business? This blog entry will unwrap the mystery surrounding these effective advertising tools and answer the question, “What is the vehicle wrap process?”

What Do You Need?

The first step of the process is you, the client, figuring out what you want. The Sign Center can meet with you over the phone or in person to give you a free consultation. We generally get a better idea of the car wrap design you want when we meet in person, but we understand that this can be difficult with your busy schedule.

To help us design your vehicle wrap, we will go over many different topics during the consultation. Whether you are just trying to brand your company image or you want to promote a specific product, we figure out what you are trying to sell during the first part of the consultation. We will then go over the different wrap options:

  • How are partial vehicle wraps designed and installedPartial Vehicle Wrap – For larger vehicles, this is a more economical option. To highlight your product and brand, vivid graphics are used.
  • Combination of Vinyl Lettering and Graphics – To give clients a reason to get in touch with you, we can use cut vinyl and digitally printed graphics to create vibrant vehicle advertising.
  • Full Vehicle Wrap – Nearly 100 percent of your car can be wrapped. You get the most visual punch with this. From far away or nearby, you can grab everyone’s attention.

We will then discuss your budget and determine what design, materials, and wrap type is best for you.

The Design Process

The first part of design is getting any artwork from you that you may want incorporated into the wrap. This usually includes your company logo, typeface, and the precise colors you want, so that you can maintain brand consistency. If you have already designed your wrap or have your own designer, we can work with that to achieve the best results.
