Refacing a Sign in Union, NJ Saves Card Cave Central Money at Opening

Our team recently had the opportunity to work with Card Cave Central. This company is your go-to for PSA card grading and hobby boxes. Recently, the business opened a brick-and-mortar location for customers to buy, sell, and trade their cards. Of course, before throwing open the doors and welcoming customers, the company needed signage. We were able to save them money by refacing a sign in Union, NJ.

Sign Refacing is an Excellent Option for Incoming Companies

Most small and mid-sized business owners take over the space that another company has vacated. Frequently, this means that there are already sign structures on the property. This was the case with the property Card Cave Central took over.

The owner chose to invest in new window letters and a window graphic. However, for the building sign and the monument already in place, it was possible to reface the signage rather than completely replace it. We created a perfect color match for this client that looks precisely like the brand presentation they use online.

Next, we prepared the surfaces with a good cleaning and by repairing any nicks. The final step was the installation of the digital graphics we printed out on our late-model equipment. The finished product looks new, makes excellent use of the existing structure, and now functions as a wayfinding and advertising sign.

Who Chooses Sign Refacing Versus a Complete Replacement?

We have already discussed that entrepreneurs and mid-sized business owners welcome the opportunity to save money by using the signage structures already on the site. However, they are not the only ones.

  • Large companies. Even if you have the budget to buy new signs, why would you? If there is a way to re-use the signs already on the site, you can save money and time just by refacing them.
  • Businesses with short-term leases. Another segment of the business community that appreciates the opportunity to reface signs is the company that has a short-term lease. If you know that you will remain at the location for only three to five years, using the available structures with digital graphics could be a great option.
  • Pilot franchise locations. Sometimes, franchises setting up the first location in a new state might gauge consumer interest in a particular area before fully committing. Frequently, these setups include pop-ups, sub-leased venues, and digitally printed vinyl letters or graphics for the location. If there is already signage in place, it makes sense to re-use it.

Refacing is Not Just for New Business Owners

When we receive calls for refacing a sign in Union, NJ, we do not necessarily talk to a new business owner. Sometimes, an existing business is concerned that a pylon, monument, post and panel, or lightbox cabinet sign are no longer brand focused. In these cases, the refacing would be considered a sign refurbishing. We gladly visit your location to determine if your current sign products qualify for this treatment.
