There are plenty of good reasons to change the way your logo looks, the way the corporate color palette presents, or both. Recently, we assisted Home Instead, a returning client, with rebranding signs in Millburn, NJ.
Why Do Companies Rebrand?
What is the reason that some businesses make changes to their brand displays? In some cases, it may be an image that is now considered outdated. Fonts, logos, and even colors appear to be dated and out of step with the contemporary customer demographic. In other cases, a business decides to shift its market positioning; it is time to attract a new or older (younger) consumer group.
Case Study: Home Instead
Home Instead specializes in home care. Several years ago, our team assisted the company with a partial car wrap and new business signs in Millburn. Not too long ago, the client made changes to its color palette and logo. Since we collaborated with them so effectively in the past, they called on us to assist with the rebranding signage in Millburn.
This time, the project would begin with a new full car wrap. Once we installed the vinyl vehicle wrap, it was time to update the signage inside and outside the office.
- Lobby sign. Our technicians custom-cut the style elements of the logo and company name using acrylic. It mimics the stylish look of glass without having to worry about the material’s brittleness.
- Logo displays. There are several logo displays around the office. We replaced the outdated logos and inserted the new ones. Doing so frequently meant patching walls and repainting some areas.
- Door signs. We fabricated door labels using clear acrylic panels with printed logos and lettering. Our technicians installed them with brushed aluminum standoffs.
- Window graphics. Our technicians removed the outdated window graphics, cleaned the glass surfaces, and applied the newly designed images. Because some of the windows were challenging to reach, our installers used a bucket van to allow for full access to ensure an excellent installation.
- Building panel. Customers quickly locate the company’s entrance by following the building panel. It features the company’s name and new logo, along with the notation that its entrance is on the second floor. A basic dark green and black on white print creates a highly visible building sign as well as a wayfinding opportunity.
