Dimensional Signs can add value to your company's image

dimensional signage, painted signs, digital signsWhen you’re trying to get your company sign to really stand out and make an impact what are your options? Plain signs just blend in to the sameness and don't reach out and touch your customer. Using a sign that’s too tall can be confusing; some passers-by could even miss the sign altogether. A sign with a striking image is nice but if people are too caught up with the picture they could miss your sign.

One exciting option you should consider is dimensional signage. Dimensional signage are signs with a background and a foreground; sometimes with just elevated letterings; sometimes with a whole open layout. Dimensional signs add that three-dimensional bit of pop your businesses sign is lacking.

There is no way to get inside the head of the consumer; they are always going to make a judgment about your business and your product and if you asked them their answers would usually be surprising. Still the one thing about the dimensional signage option is that when a sign visually stands out; physically; you can bet that the way your brand is portrayed will stand out as memorable. If for no other reason than that the lettering is ‘in your face.’

When you decide to go with a dimensional sign you should probably also consider pairing that sign with some kind of a memorable wall graphic or other image which represents your business.

One of the most memorable and striking and immediately recognizable images in all of advertising is the McDonald’s Golden Arches. Not only are those arches symbolically related back to the McDonald’s French fries but they also represent the overarching reach of the McDonald’s brand; the brands reach outside of the United States and around the globe. Your image isn't going to be filled with as much meaning as the Arches; they should not. But at least in your own industry you would hope it could one day be as memorable.

The way dimensional signs reach up from their spot on the sign itself; literally reaching out and intruding into your space; piquing your interest; inviting you in is an effective marketing strategy for any business. Dimensional signs engage the consumer; the bottom live over dimensional signs is that they can add real value to your company’s image. And no one ever said anything bad about the value add.
