Carved signs are a great sign for creates an image about your business for your potential and existing clients. But be aware that all carved signs are not created equal. Today the best materials are synthetic which won’t let the sign expand and twist in the elements which can cause the paint to crack and pealing and the sign core gets compromised from the weather.

Even the paint has evolved and some companies are using lCarved painted gilded with digital graphicsatex paints because it is cheaper and easier to work with…we still use the paints that are used are your car. Latex is easier to work with but does not last as long.

Carve signs are an investment and the materials used can look good in the beginning but make sure they will stand up to time. Ask some questions, what is the sign made of, what type of paints are being used? Do you want gold leaf or gold paint…gold paint over time will darken and not look like gold so gold leaf is recommended and if it is out of your budget than the design should reflect a color that would give you the best contrast for readability.
