What makes a great carved sign

Posted by Gary Baron on Fri, Jan 7, 2011 @ 07:31 PM

carved and painted signsThe same principals that make any sign good…contrast between the elements, simple streamlined graphics that are eye candy making the public wanting to look at it as they drive by your business.

Materials are very important, wood is not used high-density foam products and composite materials that won’t expand or twist in the environment which could lead to cracks which will lead to peeling paint.

Finishing is key, priming with the right primers, sanding and sealing the edges and applying the paint many coats of paint. We often laugh because we wait and watch it dry. As we say to clients it takes time to prepare the sign correctly that’s why it takes as long as it does and no sign can be rushed.

Once you have a carved sign from us it will improve your eye appear to the public making your business noted and wanted to do business with.

We are now finished signs The Boston Consulting Group in Summit NJ, and are working on signs for 3 different doctors offices in Morristown NJ, Westfield NJ and Chester NJ.
