We were back at Summit Oaks Hospital. Our team recently assisted this client with the design, production, and installation of a mixed-material lobby sign. For this latest project, we undertook a custom monument sign rebranding in Summit, NJ.
Saving the Client Money With a Monument Sign Refacing
This monument is situated in front of the facility and has excellent street visibility. However, it needed to be updated to represent the hospital’s branding. Rather than suggesting the purchase of a new monument, we explained to the client how we could work with the existing structure to rebrand it.
With the client’s approval, our technicians cut the material in the shop, applied the graphics we had on file from the lobby signage project, and added the street address. Besides looking great, the sign now represents an excellent reflection of the client’s branding, while the address portion is a wayfinding tool for first-time visitors.
Can We Save You Money With a Monument Sign Refurbishing?
We routinely work with clients who are looking to spruce up existing monument signs. Whether they have rebranded or taken over another location with already existing signage, there is frequently no reason to spend a lot of money on rebuilding a monument. Instead, invite our team to come out for a site survey to gauge the options.
A refacing is usually possible as long as the sign’s structure is sound. Since monument signs are designed so that there is little damage that can come to them, there is a good chance that we can work with your sign. Depending on its setup and your taste, you have several options.
- Panels. If your sign uses panel facings, we can replace them with an accurate brand representation. Typical materials include acrylic, polycarbonate, or high-density urethane (HDU).
- Letters. Sometimes, clients ask for a different set of letters on their sign’s facing. We can replace metals with acrylic, PVC, or other materials and vice versa. To ensure a great look, our technicians repair and repaint the facing to look as good as new.
- Stabilization. In rare cases, brick-and-mortar signs may experience erosion underneath the structure. We can fix this problem, stabilize the unit, and take on any needed repairs. Examples might involve cracks.
