Summit Medical Group is the state of New Jersey’s oldest and largest physician-owned multispecialty practice. The group has offices throughout central and northern New Jersey, though the work we did was for their Mountain Boulevard location in Warren. Their Berkeley Heights campus is their largest at 250,000 square feet. They employ over 2,000 staff members and 550 practitioners in more than 80 different specialties and medical services.
When an organization that provides such valuable services to local residents came to us for custom lobby signs for medical groups in Warren, NJ, we were thrilled to help out. Summit Medical Group knew they could count on us for superior signage. We had helped them in the past with Nissan NV van wraps, monument signs, and door graphics. This time, they needed lobby signs featuring their logo. We knew just what to do.
What We Did for Summit Medical Group
When meeting with Summit Medical Group for this project, we learned that they wanted a sign that greeted patients as they came in the door as well as another marker behind their reception desk. A previous change in logo had caused damage to the wallpaper by the door, and the client wanted us to cover it up with their branding. We came up with a number of designs for them to choose from. In the end, they chose the gold-colored markers.
Once Summit Medical Group approved of our proofs, we could get down to work. The two signs used the same material. We started with a half-inch-thick brushed gold sign foam panel. For the client’s name, we added painted acrylic letters. And, the logo is digitally printed. We then worked with them to install the markers at a time that was convenient for them. The signs were mounted with standoff hardware to give them some added dimensionality.
In the end, Summit Medical Group was completely satisfied with the work we did. In fact, while we were installing the lobby signs, we were getting compliments from both staff and patients.
