Medical directory signs in Berkeley Heights are more than wayfinding helpers. They also advertise and brand a practice. The most recent example is Curalta Foot + Ankle at 369 Springfield Avenue. Check out this signage project we recently undertook.
Podiatric Medicine Clinic Welcomes Patients With a Custom Directory Sign
The client requested a visually appealing directory for mounting to the clinic’s exterior wall. We designed a product that features the corporate name and logo at the top as a stand-alone panel. Next, we added individual panels imprinted with digital graphics identifying the doctors practicing at the location.
Each physician is listed on their own directory panel, which gives the sign a well-balanced look. Beyond the good looks, this type of directory is ideally suited for making changes if the clinic welcomes a new doctor or one of the practitioners retires. There is no need to buy a new sign; our team can quickly fabricate a new panel that perfectly matches the ones already on display.
The client enjoyed the good looks and practicality of the signage.
Our Team Specializes in Custom Medical Office Signage
Besides carved, painted, and gilded directory signs that double as monument signs, we fully customize a wide variety of signage solutions for interior and exterior displays. Common material choices include high-density urethane (HDU), acrylic, and aluminum composites. Custom-carved signage impresses with its three-dimensional look and background textures. These signs are the direct opposite of the more minimalist approaches that hospitals tend to prefer.
Entrance and monument signs for private clinics like using these signage options as brand-building opportunities. In contrast, hospitals focus more attention on the wayfinding aspect of these signs, which is why they tend to prefer aluminum composites and similar materials. Of course, these wayfinding systems for hospitals and larger medical facilities still can look great.
We recommend designing a base display that informs all signage solutions for the facility. This way, wall-mounted blade signs and directories with changeable panels might feature the same color palette, font, and overall design style. It gives your facility a finished feel and complements the interior decor.
ADA-Compliant Signs? We Make Them!
Several signs inside your facility must meet the standards of the Americans With Disabilities (ADA) Act. It specifies the methods for making signage accessible. Examples include Braille II elements, specific color contrast requirements, and matte finishes. Our graphic artist can customize these signs to fit perfectly with your already chosen signage design. Concurrently, they meet the Act’s requirements and keep you in full compliance.
