Toorak Capital Partners does business on the second floor west of 15 Maple Street. The firm is a thought leader in the field of integrated correspondent lending platforms. When the company needed a 3D letter lobby sign in Summit, NJ, the management team contacted our sign shop to assist with the project.
Back-Painted Acrylic Looks Chic and Encapsulates the Firm’s Brand Message
This lobby sign would be installed in a staircase. Therefore, the style elements had to be perfectly sized to be readable from any place in the foyer. Our technicians started the project by cutting out an acrylic logo board. Next, we back-painted the acrylic to create an attractive background that contrasts from the wall we would mount it to.
Next, we flat-cut three-dimensional letters that we custom-painted in the firm’s brand palette. Our technicians then mounted the letters to the front of the sign. The combination of back-painting and 3D lettering creates an attractive visual that adds depth to the display. The final step was mounting the sign to the wall. Installers used brushed aluminum stand-offs that look classy.
When you look at the sign from below during the daytime, you will notice the sign’s backdrop and mounting hardware present with a matte finish. However, the 3D letters have a semi-gloss finish that creates a beautiful visual counterpoint.
We Specialize in Lobby Sign Design, Fabrication, and Installation
Each lobby sign is as unique as the brand identity of the company that buys it. Therefore, we customize each product to feature your unique corporate persona. However, we do not stop there. The sign we did for Toorak Capital Partners is a perfect example of our specialists’ expertise to make your message stand out and be memorable.
We routinely work with acrylic, metal, sign foam, PVC, and more boutique materials to meet our clients’ needs. Similarly, we gladly design logo boards or three-dimensional letters. Besides that, we do not shy away from mixed-media signs that might combine acrylic, vinyl, metal, or other combinations.
A Closer Look at Installation Choices
Customization does not stop with materials, colors, and font details. There is also the option to adapt the installation method to your brand message. One of the most frequently chosen methods for boards is the round, brushed aluminum stand-off. For 3D letters, clients typically prefer flat mounts.
However, you have other options, too. For example, a pin mount for three-dimensional letters gives the illusion that they are floating just above the wall’s surface. We can flush-mount a panel or use different kinds of stand-offs. They come in various shapes, sizes, and colors. Some clients love the avant-garde impression that mounts with airplane cables make.
