The shop is owned by Caitlin Rinaldi, who prepared for opening her own enterprise by honing her skills in just about every sector of the fashion industry. When a business that keeps local ladies looking their best came to us for exterior signs for clothing retailers in Madison, NJ, we were more than happy to help. They wanted a classy way to let people in the area know where they are located. Fortunately, they contacted the right sign company. We knew just what to do.
What We Did for Stitch
To start, we met with Stitch to discuss what they had in mind for the project. At this time, we also got a good look at their shop and took some measurements. The challenge with fashion boutiques is that their signage needs to live up to their fashionable branding. We recommended two high-density urethane (HDU) foam signs: one for primary identification and a blade sign to catch the eyes of foot traffic. The client liked this idea, and once they approved the art proofs, we started fabricating the markers.
The primary building sign and blade sign complement each other well and feature many of the same elements. Both are carved out of HDU foam panels. They were then painted with the Stitch branding. We then worked with the client’s schedule to install the markers at a time when we would not disrupt business. The main sign is inset into the vestibule of the store. The blade sign features a custom scroll bar. The client was impressed with both finished markers, and now, the foot traffic is flowing into their shop.
