The KBS Capital Markets Group manages the corporate center at 120 Maintain View. Near the entrance to this elegant building, there was a sign which had proven to be outdated. Rather than having us take down the existing product, the client asked our shop to design, produce, and install one of our custom metal covers for existing signs in Basking Ridge, NJ.
Supporting the Building’s Brand with a Customized Cover
The cover achieves two goals. For starters, the sign fits perfectly over the already existing marker. It made it unnecessary to uninstall the other product, which minimizes damage to the wall and time spent at the location. Secondly, the new sign features up-to-date information that visitors to the area need.
Using attractive white and green on black, lettering and numerals stand out. At the same time, the color combination is beautiful and fits in perfectly with the location’s overall ambiance. And, because this cover is fashioned from metal, it is ideal for use in a lobby where damp air may be expected.
Sign Covers? We Do Those!
It is interesting to note that sign covers are more common than you think. Granted, metal sign covers are custom products that we typically only make for interior use. That said, there are plenty of other products you might use indoors or outdoors.
- Parking sign covers. You are reconfiguring your parking lot. However, you do not yet have all the changes nailed down. Using parking sign covers on existing signs lets you play around with different lot configurations. Besides that, you can also change your lot’s overall use for a temporary amount of time only.
- Pylon covers. If you are taking over a new space, there might be a pylon already in place. Until you have a chance to order your signage, why not have us put together a temporary cover that identifies the name and logo of the incoming business? This is the first step toward introducing your business to the local consumer base.

These covers do not replace existing signs, but they typically present the first type of signage engagement.
