No matter what industry you are in, it is important that you present consistent branding if you want to succeed. This is especially crucial when it comes to your signage. After all, if you operate an organization that prides itself on traditional values and longevity, then it would send the wrong message to have zany signage. Clearwater Swim Club wanted to update their look while still keep their old-fashioned feel, so they contacted The Sign Center for signs for swim clubs in North Jersey.
What Is Clearwater Swim Club?
Located on Division Avenue in New Providence, Clearwater Swim Club is a members-only recreational facility that has been serving the area for more than 60 years. They are a family-first club with over 300 members. In addition to having their own heated pool, they also offer volleyball, basketball courts, four tennis courts, a diving area, a playground, badminton and shuffleboard courts, two heated platform tennis courts, a kiddie pool, and more.
When an organization that does so much to keep local families active came to us for carved signs in New Providence, NJ, we were more than happy to oblige. Clearwater had recently updated their facilities, and they wanted signage that was new as well. Fortunately, they contacted the right commercial sign company.
What We Did for Clearwater
We first met with Clearwater to discuss what they had in mind for their project and to perform a site survey and take measurements. Based on their goals, we recommended carved signage for their building as well as along the road. Once they approved of our designs for their new markers, we got down to work.
Both the building sign and the post and panel system are made out of PVC. For the building sign, we routed the PVC panel to create a circle. For both signs, we carved the Clearwater logo out of the panel. We then painted the markers to precisely match the colors found on the client’s other marketing materials. Lastly, we worked with the client’s schedule to install the new signs at a time that was convenient for them. In the end, they were completely satisfied with the work we did.
Why Choose Carved Signs?
Carved signs have been a popular option for centuries. Because they are associated with markers of yesteryear, they are the ideal choice for organizations that want to demonstrate their old-world values. Of course, it used to be that carved signs were made out of wood. The major drawback with using wood is that it is not very durable. The North Jersey weather causes wood to warp and paint to crack. This can quickly have a negative effect on your business.
These days, we recommend PVC for carved signs. It will maintain its surface finish for years without any need for maintenance. We also get plenty of requests for carved sign foam markers. This material also avoid the pitfalls of wood.
