Since The Sign Center team has been working with the local business community for a long time, it is not unusual to put up a new building sign in Summit, NJ, next to a company we worked with a decade ago or so. We recently ran into this scenario when working with the Lavender and Sage Boutique.

A Digital Laminated Print Building Sign at the Mondo Building next to Marigolds

The Lavender and Sage Boutique opened at 426 Springfield Avenue. It sells gorgeous, ethically sourced gifts. It is interesting to note that the location is the Mondo, for which we designed, fabricated, and installed new storefront signage more than a decade ago. The Boutique is next to Marigolds, for which we also did a building sign. 

Our client also selected a digital laminated print on a custom-shaped sign. Our technicians cut out an oval and smoothed its borders. In the meantime, we printed the digital laminate at a high resolution. The display mimics the window graphic on the door, which is an excellent way to build brand knowledge. 

In addition to the building sign, we added a digital laminated print to the store’s inside. It features the corporate logo and tagline, which brings the branding inside. Customers see it all the way from the back of the store. It is an excellent tool for building the brand.

A Closer Look at Building Signs with Laminated Prints

When selecting building signs, many clients like us to install laminated prints on durable substrates. Examples include aluminum, PVC, or acrylic. Our team can create full-color overlays or select a more subtle color palette. Most importantly, the lamination we use protects the printed information. Once again, you have a choice. Select a glossy or matte lamination. If the sign is situated in full sun, we recommend the matte lamination to prevent glare.
