Earlier this year, the Long Hill Township Police Department celebrated its 100th year of service. To mark this occasion, the agency requested new sign faces and window graphics in Long Hill Township, NJ. Our team was honored to be part of the project.
Working with the Long Hill Police Department on a Sign Refurbishing
The wall-mounted sign was located just outside of police headquarters. Measuring five feet by five feet, it represents a shield. Over the years, the elements had taken a toll on the display. Our team had the opportunity to design new sign faces and refurbish the existing setup. It now looks fantastic, with vibrant colors and a glossy finish.
While we were there, the client also requested the addition of window graphics. This product took inspiration from the shield and displays the same message. But rather than focusing attention on different colors, the vinyl features white colors and cutouts. It looks impressive and is ideally suited for a door display.
A Long History of Working With Law Enforcement
Our shop has done a lot of work with local police departments across the state. An excellent example is the Watchung Police Department, where we focused on identifiable vehicle graphics. These were added to fleet vehicles that would make the cars stand out when in the community or just on the road. This department has had excellent success with reflective vinyl graphics to make cars stand out after dark. We added the 3M graphics whenever a new vehicle joins the fleet.
Vinyl Graphics for Government Agencies? You Bet!
So far, we have discussed the window graphics in Long Hill Township and the vehicle wraps and graphics we have done for Watchung. What makes vinyl graphics so popular with government agencies? We have answers.
- Budget-friendly. When compared to other signage solutions, vinyl graphics are easy on the budget. And, because they are fully customizable, you can boost your branding and identity. Simply display your name, seal, or agency logo.
- Visitor assistance. Vinyl graphics are also suitable for providing directional signage to guide visitors and display hours of operation, contact information, or emergency numbers.
- Community outreach. Agencies also use window or vehicle graphics to promote government programs, initiatives, or events through bold, eye-catching designs. These graphics are effective for sharing information about services or announcements.
