Few things signal a brand better than the signage solutions you place inside and outside your business. Not surprisingly, a corporate rebranding always calls for new signage. But how do you go about the actual change of the different signage systems? Your questions – answered!
Case Study: Rebranding Investor Savings Bank to Citizens Bank
Vericon Construction was responsible for converting seven branches of Investor Savings Bank to Citizens Bank. Six branches were in New Jersey, and one was in Staten Island, NY. Vericon tapped The Sign Center to handle the signage component of the rebranding, and we were happy to help.
The primary focus was on the exterior signage. Our team divided the project into four distinctive phases.
- Permitting. Whenever you make significant or structural changes to the exterior signs, it is critical to apply for permits before beginning the process. Our shop handles all aspects of the permitting process, ensuring it is done right the first time.
- New vinyl wrap for ATMs. ATMs are the primary connection points between the brand and the customer. These built-in machines are ideally suited for featuring the corporate palette and persona. Our installers wrapped the ATMs in Citizens’ well-known green color and white lettering.
- Pylon sign switch. The street-facing signage consists of pylon signs. We removed the outdated products and installed new ones. Notice the three-dimensional letters that spell out the company’s name.
- Building sign change. We removed the old signage, recycled it, and installed the new channel letters. Our team handled the electrical hookups, which involved raceway mounts.
Take Advantage of the Impact Exterior Signage Has on Your Customers
What is the first thing the customer sees when driving to your location? It is not the grand lobby or the fantastic products you offer. Instead, it is your signage. The more exterior signs you have displaying your corporate colors and lettering, the quicker the customer notices you and develops brand awareness.
Determining the Most Important Products When Undergoing a Corporate Rebranding with New Signage
Plenty of companies rebrand on a budget. You may only be able to invest in some signage systems you want right at the onset of the rebranding. However, you can prioritize the most important products for your location. As outlined in our case study, these are vinyl wraps of exterior amenities your customers use, updates to pylon or monument signs, and building signage. Once you officially rebrand, old signs confuse customers and should be removed.
Our team handles all aspects of rebranding. In addition to installing new signs, removing old ones, and recycling the pieces, we also design new products and fabricate them. And, if you still need to figure out how to go about the process, we would love to sit down and assist you. Call us today to schedule an appointment!
